URL Alias

Every published content Location in Ibexa DXP automatically receives a URL alias derived from the content name schema. When an item is renamed or moved, a new alias is generated and the old one is kept as a historical alias — preserving existing links and SEO rankings without manual redirects.

Custom URL aliases can override the auto-generated one. The LanguageAwareUrlAliasRouter translates between locationId-based internal routes and their human-readable slug representations, correctly selecting the alias for the active language.
