Ready to unify your multi-brand experience?
See how Ibexa DXP helps global enterprises manage multiple brands and markets from a single platform — without losing local relevance.
The challenge: a portfolio of strong brands, a fragile digital infrastructure
Belron International operates Carglass, Safelite, Autoglass and more than a dozen other vehicle glass repair and replacement brands across 35 countries. Each brand has a distinct identity, a local customer base, and a dedicated marketing team — yet all were running on separate, aging CMS instances with no shared component library, no unified analytics, and no way to roll out global campaigns without months of coordination with regional agencies.
The technical debt was compounding. Launching a new market site required cloning an existing installation, adapting the theme by hand, and configuring integrations from scratch. A mid-sized market could take six months to go live. When a brand rebrand was needed, changes had to be replicated manually across every market instance — a process that took over a year and introduced inconsistencies that persisted for years.
The solution: a shared DXP platform with brand-level autonomy
Kaliop proposed and implemented a hub-and-spoke architecture on Ibexa DXP 5.0, taking full advantage of its multisite and siteaccess capabilities. A single Ibexa instance now serves all Belron brands and markets, with each brand group and national siteaccess having its own tree root, editorial permissions, and theme layer — while sharing a common component library, taxonomy, and design system.
Key delivered capabilities: shared content types with brand-level field overrides; a Stimulus-driven front-end component library deployable to any siteaccess; Ibexa Personalization integrated with each brand's booking funnel; a centralised media library with granular brand-level access policies; and an automated site-provisioning workflow that reduces new market launch from weeks to two days.
Results after 18 months
Following the rollout, Belron recorded a 70% reduction in time-to-launch for new market sites, a 45% decrease in the engineering effort required for global campaign deployments, and a measurable improvement in Net Promoter Score across three of its top-five markets. The platform now serves over 12 million sessions per month across all brands and markets combined.
