DAM Asset Tagging Agent
Tag every asset by what’s in the image, in minutes, not one keyword at a time.
Tell the agent what you need, for example “Tag the new assets from this week’s shoot”. It looks at each image with vision, recognises what it shows, and adds tags to match. Your DAM stays searchable, even when nobody had time to fill in the keywords.
For example, a photo of a model in a camel wool coat, belted, against a city street, arrives with no tags. The agent tags it “coat”, “wool”, “camel”, “belted”, “womenswear” and “outdoor”. Next month, a colleague searching for “camel coat” finds it in seconds instead of scrolling through the whole folder.
It tags only from what is visible in the image. If it can’t see it, it doesn’t tag it, so your search results stay relevant rather than noisy. Tags that are already on an asset are left alone, and you get a clear summary of what was tagged, what was skipped and why.
Spot every asset whose usage rights have expired in minutes, not after a manual audit of licences and expiry dates.
Tell the agent what you need, for example “Check the Usage Right on all assets”. It goes through the usage rights of your assets in the DAM and flags every asset whose rights have expired. On a library like yours, that might mean 20 expired assets flagged in one pass.
For example, a campaign photo of a model in a wool coat was licensed until 30 September. Today it is still linked to four product pages. The agent flags it as expired and shows you which products still point to it.
Then it cleans up, but only with your say-so. Once you approve, the agent removes the links between the expired assets and your products, so outdated visuals stop showing up on product pages. In the example above, that could mean 10 product links removed.
Assets whose rights are still valid are never touched, and you get a clear summary of what was flagged, what was unlinked and why.
How it works
- Scope on demand: [tool_name] finds the assets you point it at, such as a folder, a selection or everything recently added, and picks out those that are untagged or thinly tagged.
- Image analysis: each image is analysed with vision to identify objects, materials, colours, settings and styles.
- Visible only: tags come from what the image actually shows. Nothing is guessed.
- Existing tags respected: tags already on an asset are kept, and the agent adds to them without overwriting.
- Structured report: status, assets analysed, tags added, assets skipped, assumptions and blockers.
